SVEN BRUNSO
#OspreyAthlete
Sven Brunso has been dubbed “The hardest working man in snowbusiness.” Brunso has been chasing the Endless Winter for the past 23 years while traveling the globe to ski for the world’s best photographers. In an industry where “pro skiers” have an average career of just a few years, Brunso has found a way to stay relevant for more than two decades. During his career he has appeared in more than 2,500 published images including 100 covers of international magazines such as Powder, Skiing, Men’s Journal, Backcountry, Mountain, Couloir, Ascent, Aka Skidor and Ski Canada.
Brunso has skied around the globe and made first descents in the Alps, Iceland and the Republic of Georgia. Sven spends a majority of his time in the backcountry, earning his turns and finding sanctuary away from the confines and commercialism of ski resorts. In addition to skiing for the camera, Brunso dedicates time to testing gear for sponsors such as Osprey, Fischer, LEKI and Oakley. Sven lives in Durango, Colorado with his wife Beth and teenage children Stowe and Aspen.
