We are proud to welcome a new Osprey Athlete, Nirmal ‘Nims’ Purja MBE. With over 16 years in the British Military, including Special Forces roles, and more than 6 years of Mountain Guide and Expedition Leader experience, Nims now joins Osprey Europe’s athlete programme.
A former elite cross-country skier, Kristin Harila is on her way to becoming a legend in mountain climbing. Having only climbed her first mountain in 2015, Harila is now the fastest climber to summit the five highest mountains in the world (68 days), the fastest woman from peak to peak between Everest and Lhotse (8.5 hours) and the fastest person to summit six 8,000m mountains in Spring in Nepal (25 days).
Extreme TV adventurer Aldo Kane is a former Royal Marines Commando and an expert in traversing challenging outdoor environments. Aldo has operated and filmed in over 100 countries, has been held at gunpoint, charged by a black Rhino, abseiled into active volcanoes and rowed across the Atlantic.
Double Olympic champion and 7-time world champion, Laura Dahlmeier has conquered Biathlon-Sports with determination and willpower, achieving her childhood dreams and becoming a role model, both on and off the biathlon course.
Jason Fox, former Royal Marine Commando and SBS Special Forces Sergeant, joins Osprey as a Brand Ambassador bringing a wealth of survival and expedition experience. Now focusing on extreme exploration, Jason will be embarking upon his upcoming expedition: a 49 mile hike through Alaskan/Canadian territory followed by a 1,980 mile kayak trip along the Yukon River.
