Feature Film: 7Stanes in 7 Days

What happens when you take on all 7Stanes trail centres in the South of Scotland, in just seven days, with a 7 year old?

This delightful short film by Ross La Trobe, follows former world champion mountain biker Tracy Moseley as she completes an unforgettable family adventure, riding the iconic 7 Stanes in 7 days with her husband James, and seven-year-old son, Toby. The journey wasn’t just about ticking off trail centres, it was about showing that the South of Scotland’s forests, landscapes, and communities offer endless opportunities for families to connect, discover, and have fun together.

Her dream, to inspire other families to get outdoors, explore, create adventures and unforgettable memories of their own. Did it all go well? Was the dream alive at the end of the 7 days?

The film was brought to life though Tracy working with Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland (DMBinS) and the following project partners. OS Maps, Hope Technology, South of Scotland Destination Alliance (SSDA, Osprey Europe, Trek UK, Scottish Cycling Foundation, Dometic, Exposure Lights, Roadsurfer, Go Tweed Valley and Forestry and Land Scotland.
