After a life-changing journey on the Pacific Crest Trail, “Yeehaw” returns to the wilderness—this time on the unforgiving Continental Divide Trail. But the CDT doesn’t care about your past. From the snow-capped Rockies to the deserts of New Mexico, Yeehaw faces storms, injury, and solitude across some of the most brutal and beautiful landscapes in North America. He’s not chasing records or proving anything; he’s chasing purpose. As the miles wear on, the trail forces him to confront the question that brought him back: Why are we drawn to these wild places—and what are we really searching for out there? Trails of Life is a raw and poetic journey into the heart of the trail, and the quiet, relentless search for meaning.
Titouan, better known under his trail name “Yeehaw,” is a French documentary filmmaker, photographer, writer, and thru-hiker.
With a camera always in hand and a spirit hungry for adventure, he effortlessly intertwines his love for storytelling with his deep connection to nature. His experiences on the trail have not only shaped his perspective on life but have also fueled his aspiration to inspire others. Through his films, Titouan strives to share the transformative power of nature and the profound lessons learned while journeying through it, hoping to ignite a spark of curiosity and wanderlust in those who witness his cinematic adventures.
In 2023, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by thru-hiking the entire Pacific Crest Trail—during the highest snow year on record. That five-month odyssey became The Long Way Home: A Pacific Crest Trail Story(Se abre en una nueva ventana), an award-winning documentary now available on YouTube.
The following year, in 2024, Titouan completed a thru-hike of the Continental Divide Trail, traversing the rugged spine of the Rocky Mountains from Canada to Mexico. Watch the film to follow this most recent journey.
