Norwegian mountaineer Kristin Harila has become a legend in mountain climbing. Having only climbed her first mountain in 2015, in 2023 Harila became the fastest person to summit all 14 of the highest peaks in the world!
Back in April 2023, Kristin Harila set out on a mission to become the fastest person to climb all 14 of the world’s highest peaks. With an ambitious goal in mind, Kristin aimed to complete the challenge in less than four months to beat the existing record time of 6 months and 6 days.
With unwavering determination, skill and a relentless pursuit of her passion, Kristin was able to smash her target, successfully summiting the 14 Peaks in just 3 months and 1 day! Her achievement serves as an inspiration to adventurers and mountaineers around the globe, proving that with dedication and resilience, extraordinary heights can be reached.

Aside from Kristin’s most recent success on the mountains, she also holds a number of other world records, including the record for the fastest climber to summit the five highest mountains in the world (68 days), the fastest woman from peak to peak between Everest and Lhotse (8.5 hours) and the fastest person to summit six 8,000m mountains in Spring in Nepal (25 days).
